Prefer to mail in a form: fill out a paper membership application and pay using one of the options below.
Existing Members only need to fill out the form again if there has been any change in information when they are renewing their membership.
To pay dues by credit card
Choose the membership type from the drop-down menu and click on the “Buy Now” button below. This will take you to PayPal, but you don’t need a PayPal account to make a payment. If your credit card address is not your mailing address, please put the correct information in the Shipping Address.
To pay dues by check or cash
Print the paper membership application, fill it out, and mail it with payment to the address on the application or bring it to any SMCAS event.
Please feel free to attend any of our public events or to join SMCAS. We are a friendly group and our meetings involve a minimum of jargon or overly technical content. You do not need to own a telescope to participate in our meetings or events. If you do own a telescope or are thinking of buying one, we have members who can help you with advice based on their own experience.
You are welcome to attend our meetings and star parties without joining SMCAS. You need to join to take advantage of the benefits of SMCAS membership.
Annual membership in SMCAS costs $15 for full time students or $30 for your entire family. All memberships expire on December 31. If you join after June 30, your membership will be extended through the following calendar year.
