A few of us (I recognized Stephen, Andy, and Julian) as well as others including some family attempted to view the lunar eclipse up at Crestview Park. From moonrise and up to basically the point of maximum eclipse, the moon was hidden behind a large blanket of clouds. Right around 9:10 p.m. light started to shine through, and we were greeted with the moon at or near that maximum. Getting anything at all made for some excitement, and we got some 15 to 20 minutes in before it again slid behind a bank of clouds. You willl notice from the images the large amount of reflective light pollution from the surrounding areas against the clouds, as if it was still daylight. These images were all captured on my phone. Most of our viewing was naked eye or with binoculars.
